Wow! Embossing + Picket Fence Studios Blog Hop

Welcome to day 2 of this amazing collaboration hop between Wow! Embossing and Picket Fence Studios! Hopefully you have arrived here from the talented Lydia Fiedler's Blog! If not, just head to the bottom of my post for a full list of everyone hopping along today.

I created two cards for you today using products from these two fabulous companies. I am a huge fan of both and so excited to be able to be part of this hop. I absolutely love the Watercolor Trees and Bushes stamp set from PFS so of course I had to emboss it to create a beautiful silhouette against my ink blended background.

I have become so addicted to ink blending since I started using the amazing PFS Life Changing Blender Brushes. Before I started using these, I rarely did any ink blending - now I have to hold myself back. I also love this embossing powder from the Dockside Trio with its incredible texture and dimension. Oiled Slate was the perfect shade without using black to create the silhouette look I was going for.

I love the sentiments that come in this set and white embossing on dark card stock completed the elegant look and feel to this card.

Before I move on to my 2nd card, let me tell you a bit about our amazing hop this weekend. First of all - it is running over the course of two days. Be sure to check out either Wow! Embossing or Picket Fence Studios to get the line up from day 1.

PRIZES - No Blog hop is complete without a prize!
WOW! Embossing Powders is giving away a $25 gift certificate to either their UK or USA store.

Picket Fence Studios is giving away a $50 gift certificate to their store.
The Winners will be chosen at random from the comments left on THE POSTS
To join this GIVEAWAY you must leave a comment on each blog post to have a chance at getting your hands on the prize. This hop is open internationally.

For my second card, I couldn't wait to play with the new Paper Glaze from Picket Fence Studios. It is so creamy and lush and just a breeze to stencil this beautiful intricate Quatrefoil Bouquet stencil. I tried my hand at blending the two and you can see a bit of the gorgeous violet these two colors created.

I absolutely love the big word dies from PFS and they are a dream to emboss! I love glitter dipped nail art and that inspired the look that I created for the Hey You sentiment. It was really easy to just press the letters into the Wow! Embossing Pad about halfway up and then sprinkle the powder over top. To really make the words pop, I also embossed the shadow die with a contrasting color. I love the mix of metals, don't you? I totally need all the big word dies now. And that tiny little sentiment just makes me smile!

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at my cards today. Your next stop on the hop is the fabulous Michelle Lupton!

In case you get lost on the way, here is the full list below.
I have started including affiliate links for all the supplies used in my videos here. Using the links when you see something you like helps me with a teeny tiny kickback without changing the price for you at all. It's an easy way for you to support my art and my channel so I can continue to create good content for you. Thank you so much!
