#SpreadJoyNotGerms Official Blog Hop!

Hi friends and welcome to my stop on the Spread Joy Not Germs Blog Hop! One of the things I love about crafting is the community. There has been no shortage of inspiration since most of the world has gone on lock down. From watching my favorite artists do daily demos on facebook to getting together with other YouTubers for incredible live streams, one thing artist and crafters know how to do is inspire and encourage! That's exactly what this blog hop is all about. So, snuggle in, grab your favorite hot cuppa or snack, and join 153 bloggers come together as we spread joy while you stay home.

For a complete hop list please head over to Catherine Pooler or The Hedgehog Hollow - you can also find out all the details on our sponsor prizes there. In a nutshell we have 31 amazing sponsors and you can leave a comment right here on my blog (and as many of the other bloggers as well) to enter...the more comments you leave, the more entries you have. There is plenty of time for you to leave your comments until April 24.

For my card today, I wanted to use as many of my favorite products as possible. Starting with these new cute stamps from a new to the scene company called Sassy and Crafty! When my friend Beth told me she was designing again and I saw these OMG girls, I knew she was on to something and I couldn't wait to color them. I also thought the Comic Book Stencil was genius and knew immediately that I would be creating a fun card with both of these products. You know, I want to spread joy...but I also have a little snark in me and well, I just hope this card makes you smile because honestly, I'd like to tell all this bad stuff happening in the world to just kiss off...haha wouldn't you!? My favorite size card to make is generally the A2 but I've been seeing these slimline cards take over the crafty scene and I had to try it especially for this comic book look...and can I just say, I might have a new favorite card size? I don't know why but it is SO fun to create this different size card.

I love watercolor...pretty much any brand is my favorite. I have been eyeing the Karin Brushmarker Pro's for a LONG time...probably over a year since I started seeing amazing lettering done with them on instagram. Last month, I finally took the plunge and got a set of 60 to try for myself after sampling a few and let me tell you, I LOVE coloring with them. It's like having the pigment loaded just perfectly on my brush and makes coloring a breeze. They blend and move so nicely as you can see in this close up. My favorite style with watercolor is loose and breezy...these definitely fit my niche.

If you'd like to see this card come together, please feel free to enjoy my process video below. It was a fun one to put together using some of my favorite things from our sponsors like Wow! Embossing Powder, Brutus Monroe, Sassy and Crafty and more.

If you'd prefer to just head on over to the next stop on the hop, feel free to check out Lisa's Blog now! Thank you all so much for stopping by. Stay safe and Stay Encouraged. We will get through this.

Please support and thank our amazing sponsors!!! Without each and everyone of them creating amazing products, this hop would not be possible as every single one of us use something from each one along the way. I know there are so many of my favorites here generously donating prizes and I love them all.

I have started including affiliate links for all the supplies used in my videos here. Using the links when you see something you like helps me with a teeny tiny kickback without changing the price for you at all. It's an easy way for you to support my art and my channel so I can continue to create good content for you. Thank you so much!
