Hi everyone! Happy mixed media Monday - after a long summer focused on our house and getting it ready to list, it has been so nice to get back to doing some art in my free time again. I have packed up a lot of my supplies and I am actually really enjoying the simplicity of not having ALLTHETHINGS because I have realized that clutter actually stifles my creativity...so hopefully I can keep this up!
I am working in the Dina Wakley Media 6x6 journal for the #ShowUsYourMEdia A Year of Gratitude challenge that started up again this month. For more details, be sure to check out the Ranger Ink blog. The first challenge prompted us to think about Simple Pleasures in our lives. Once you start thinking about it, the list becomes endless but the first thought that ran in my head was simply: Music. I Love music...LOVE LOVE LOVE. I can listen to it all day long. In fact, one of the reasons I do voice overs is because when I'm creating art, I listen to music. LOUDly.
