Day 2 of 12 Days of Creative Christmas: Watercoloring Stamped Images with Distress Oxide Inks

Hi everyone! Welcome to Day 2 of my 12 Days of Creative Christmas. Today I'm making a card using a stamp from Simon Says Stamp that I color using Distress Oxides however I return to my beloved Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors for the background. I do a little white resist embossing as well in this video. While it was a process to get through, I love the card result and hope you do, too! Please let me know what you think about this series as well as anything you'd like to see. I'm excited to keep sharing more creativity with you over the next few days.

Day 1 of 12 Days of Creative Christmas: How to Foil on Watercolor Backgrounds

Hi everyone! Welcome to Day 1 of my 12 Days of Creative Christmas. I decided at the last minute to create this series so wish me luck! I have so many ideas and have bought *ahem* so many new Christmas stamps that this series was the perfect way to make myself use at least some of them! I hope you will enjoy it. Today I pulled out my Gemini  FoilPress machine to do some foiling on top of a watercolor background I created. I absolutely love the end result. I also show you how easy it is to foil with your thin cutting dies that I'm sure we all have in our craft room!
