Dina Wakley Media Show Us Your Media Challenge - What is your why?

Hi Everyone! Dina Wakley started a new challenge last month and I used the prompt to create this page yesterday. The prompt for the first challenge was to journal about your Why...why do you create, why do you make art, art journal, etc. My reasons are simple: to relax, get out of my head (although being IN my head all too often means I don't even sit down to create art but when I do...), release stress, have fun and it makes me happy. When I sit down and start adding paint, color, texture, stamps, etc to an art journal page or canvas...I am truly in my happy place.

I actually filmed my process as well because that is part of what makes me happy - sharing what I do and my process with you. I haven't been doing that for awhile - for a variety of reasons (see above about being in my head too much, LOL) and I want to just give it a try again.
