Growing in Unity Gal - Day 4!

Hi everyone! Welcome to Day 4 of my Growing In Unity week. It seems watercolor and mixed media is my theme this week with me pulling out all these beautiful Angie Girl stamps I seem to love collecting. haha Today I am using Dream of Being. I feel just like her when I get my cup of coffee in the morning. I just want to sit there, letting that warmth fill me up and think about the day (sometimes days) ahead.

Today I pulled out my Daniel Smith Watercolors. These are my ABSOLUTE favorite watercolors but they are artist grade so it's not something I would recommend for a beginner. There are many great student grade watercolors that until you know you're obsessed (like me) and then want to play with the more artist quality supplies, I would then definitely recommend Daniel Smith...they have some of the most beautiful colors an properties that I've ever seen with a watercolor. My favorite color is hands down Moonglow which is the purple I used here...at least it is supposed to be. During my move, my watercolors popped out of their well in my palette and they are all kinda mixed up so it's a guessing game now. It BOTHERS me a lot, too that I don't know exactly what color is where. I will probably make up a new palette eventually. ;) That's it for me today.  A very simple watercolor card. I'll be back tomorrow for my final day!

Be sure to comment on my blog posts each day this week for your chance to win an awesome Unity Stamp Co prize pack! I'll be choosing ONE winner from all the comments left each day at the end of the week (winner to be announced Monday, April 24). Also, be sure to check out Terri's Blog, our other Growing In Unity Gal this week - she's a newbie so be sure to leave her lots of love this week as well because you have a second chance to win over there.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I would love it if you would click on the button below to subscribe to my blog to let me know you enjoy what you see and would like to see more!

I really like the dominant moody purple and blue coloring and then those vibrant pink cheeks! I would never think to do that. Beautiful and brilliant!

Beautiful! The colors are gorgeous and skillfully done. I've been wanting the Daniel Smith line but I've got to cut back on my stamp purchases to get it and frankly I don't see that happening any time soon. 🙃
