Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be a returning Growing in Unity Gal this week. Unity Stamp Company is such a sweet company and I love that there is a style for everyone. I tend to gravitate toward the artsy or cutesy stamps which you will probably see this week.
For my project today, I'm reaching deep into my stash of Unity Stamps that spans YEARS of collecting and inking up a favorite Christy Tomlinson stamp called She Leaped (sadly, no longer available) that I honestly *gasp* don't think I've used before. See...I have this bad habit of seeing cute stamps that I HAVETOHAVE and then when I get them, they just sit there all cute because I can't bring myself to make anything even remotely as awesome as they already are. LOL It's a sickness and one you don't have because honestly, we should USE these beautiful stamps because that's why we bought them in the first place.
I pulled out my handmade art journal that already has some backgrounds created making it easy to just put together a page in a pinch. I stamped my girl and then blocked her out using Jane Davenport Mermaid Markers. I outlined the image with a white gel pen and added sparkle to her wings. I can't seem to leave wings without adding a little sparkle.
I came in and added some texture with more stamps and stencils before adding my words. I thought this was fitting seeing that the background became pretty dark. I'm super happy with the way this page turned out and can't wait to be back tomorrow with another fun new Unity Stamp project!
Be sure to comment on my blog posts each day this week for your chance to win an awesome Unity Stamp Co prize pack! I'll be choosing ONE winner from all the comments left each day at the end of the week (winner to be announced Monday, April 24). Also, be sure to check out Terri's Blog, our other Growing In Unity Gal this week - she's a newbie so be sure to leave her lots of love this week as well because you have a second chance to win over there.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I would love it if you would click on the button below to subscribe to my blog to let me know you enjoy what you see and would like to see more!

I like all the color and texture on your page and Angel. I think the white was a great choice for making her pop. I think I'm going to enjoy watching what you do this week. Mixed media is my kind of fun. 😆
Cute! Love the vivid colors.
Very inventive. I like it
Very pretty colors. I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't buy any more until I used what I have at least once, and then they bring out more great stamps that IJUSTHAVETOHAVE. lol. Glad you could use some of your older ones.
I love that stamp. It's in my stash as I was big into She Art years ago. Pretty mixed media
Wow! What Awesome colors!!!
Beautiful color and texture! I understand about leaving a stamp unlinked for too long because it's just so nice... And wings always need a little sparkle, don't they? ✨
Oh, this is just dreamy & artsy and beautiful.
Beautiful Mixed media card!!!
I`m sure many of us can relate to `gotta have that stamp`....and don`t use it for years....confessions of a crafter....
I'm a newbie to making cards with watercolors and appreciate your videos showing how easy it is. You certainly have an eye for this. Thanks for sharing.
