Hi Everyone! I'm so excited to be over at Blitsy show you how to create a beautiful watercolor canvas using only Prima Marketing Bloom Sprays. That's right - only color sprays!! Hop on over to the Blitsy Blog today to see more of what I've created along with a full supply list and my process video!
Hi Everyone! I'm excited to share this card with you today because I'm challenging myself this year to combine two of my favorite things - Card Making and Mixed Media! I know a lot of people do this but for some reason, I'm so compartmentalized in my creative thinking that I don't really tend to bring these two things together. So, in trying to do so more this is what I've come up with...and of course watercolor will be a major part of this journey as well. (Speaking of watercolor, PLEASE check out this amazing class by Dawn Woleslagle of WPlus9 that is seriously taking my water coloring to another level!)
These colors are SO pretty and as soon as I saw them I knew I would be using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi 36 Watercolor Palette because there are colors in there that just fit this color scheme so perfectly. They are two of my favorite colors actually in the entire palette!
There is actually NO stamping on this card at all! *gasp* I know! But this Pop Up Birthday Die by My Favorite Things is just so cool and I created a similar card for my daughter's birthday recently that I knew I wanted to recreate it and show you how I used it. I honestly think it is the perfect way to accentuate the watercolor background. If you would like to see how this card came together, I have a process video available on my YouTube Channel for you:

Hi Everyone! CardMaker has joined forces with May Arts to bring you a fun filled Valentine's inspired blog hop for you. If you stopped by from Dee Dee Catron's Blog you are in the right place, if not, just head on to the start over on CardMaker's Blog for the full list (or scroll to the bottom of this post.)
May Arts is also hosting a GIVEAWAY on The Ribbon Resource blog so be sure to make sure you head over there at the end of the hop to enter for your chance to win one of two $25 gift cards to purchase yummy ribbon of your choice! Fun!
The entire CardMaker Blog team was sent ribbon from May Arts and I absolutely loved the big puffy red heart ribbon. I decided to pull out a set I barely (if ever) used when I got it and even though it is a fall themed set I had the idea to replace the little pumpkin with the heart. It took a little masking and strategic fussy cutting but it turned out exactly the way I imagined - don't you love when that happens?!
Here is a close up of the cute little mouse! I just adore the puffy little heart in his arms! haha Cute, right?! Or is it just me!!! Just a little simple coloring for this simple card. I also created a video showing you how this card comes together. Enjoy!
