Top 5 Festive Holiday Crafts For Kids on Blitsy!

Your kiddos might be off for the holidays and I've found 5 great holiday crafts on the Blitsy Blog that are sure to keep them entertained plus you'll have some great handmade gifts all set for family if you are anything like me and have waited to the last minute! All of these are simple to make plus you probably have all of the supplies already on hand.  Be sure to click on EACH LINK to go directly to the blog post which will have full supply lists as well as step by step photos for you. Here it goes: My Top 5 Festive Crafts for Kids.

Fellow Blitsy Creative Team Member, Stacey Gibbon, comes up with some of the cutest and clever kids crafts. Check out her blog for great ideas all the time! I'm always in awe of how simple and easy to follow her step by steps are. These 3 are from her:

Seriously, how cute are these and so easy to make! I think they'd make great ornaments or tags for gifts.

Now, these are too adorable! I can see my younger kids making these and letting them loose with the bling. When I first saw these, I thought how cute it would be to put this on a small canvas for the kids to decorate and give as special gifts to the grandparents. I just love Stacey's handprint crafts.

I'm a sucker for reindeers and snoman! This reindeer is so cute! I love how it's so easy to make using a pre made burlap banner but you could also use the We R Memory Keepers Punch Board to make the reindeer head out of kraft or pattern paper if you don't have burlap. I like the idea of making a whole banner of these with my kids.

Fellow Blitsy Creative Team Member, Katie King, came up with this next one. She really got me thinking on this one as we always make ornaments each year and I HAVE to save this idea for next year. Katie is a DIY queen so be sure to check out her blog for even more awesome ideas!

Seriously, are you not dying from the cuteness right now?! I mean, as soon as I saw the painted sweaters, I was a goner. haha I NEED to start collection plastic animals for next year because I have all sorts of ugly sweater ideas for them and I just KNOW my kids are going to love this one. Filing away for next year…but you don't have to. These are fast and I'm sure you have everything you need already.

For the older kiddos you have at home, this next one comes from fellow Blitsy Creative Team Member, Morena Hockley. She is a DIY goddess so be sure to check out and follow her blog for even more creative ideas!

While not necessarily a kids craft, I really think older kids could easily do this one and like I mentioned earlier, I just adore a cute Snowman. I love his little button eyes and the burlap scarf.

So, that's my it for my Top 5 Blitsy Festive Crafts for kids. I hope you got some ideas here for some great crafts to do with the kids while they are home from school. There are so many great ideas on the Blitsy Blog as well as the Inspiration page - definitely bookmark those pages to check out every day. Also, I hope you will give my awesome fellow team members a follow as well - they are so creative and I'm in awe of their DIY-ness!!!
