Saturated Canary July Release Hop!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to be joining the Saturated Canary Design Team in this fun July Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived from the talented Regan's Blog. If you just happened to visit during the hop, be sure to go back to the beginning HERE or check out the end of this post for the full list! When Krista asked me there was no hesitation when I said yes. You can check out my art journal using one of the new stamps HERE. Tomorrow she will release five more gorgeous images into her shop and I am lucky enough to share with you some of them (with the help of my girls!)

For my card today, I used the new image called QuickText. I just fell in love with this image as soon as I saw it. I think she looks so sweet and that hair - we all love coloring that hair, right?! I used Copic Markers and fussy cut her out. She comes with two fun sentiment bubbles and I used this one for my card because it is absolutely how I feel about Krista! I also want to enter this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes. :D

Supplies:
Stamps: Saturated Canary Digital Stamp (QuickText), Simon Says Stamp (Grunge Letters Background)
Copics: Skin (E11, E33, V15, E04, R22, R24); Hair (BV31, B63, B66, BV29); Pants (B95, B97, B99); Shirt (Y21, YR23, Y28); Jacket (C5, C7, C9, 100); Purse (N3, N5, N7); Phone (C1, C3)
Ink: Simon Says Stamp Dye Ink (Duckling, Wisteria)
Printer: Brother Laser
Copic Xpress It Blending Card
White Gel Pen
Memento Tuxedo Black Marker
WPlus9 Die (Sunshine)

Krista is also releasing a special set for kids! It includes 3 adorable images and will be available tomorrow for an awesome price just for the kiddos. I just knew I had to ask my girls to play along with me today for this blog hop. They were ecstatic and colored up all three images right away - especially since mom said they could use her Copics which are normally hands off. haha!  I asked them each to pick one of their colored images to create a card. My youngest daughter chose the one little dude of the set. I thought that was so sweet since personally I have a hard time with the boy cards. I absolutely love her coloring and thought it was so cute she wanted to off set the image on the card so it looked like he was skateboarding off!

My oldest did such a great job with this cutie patootie. She didn't ask for any help with the design of her card, cutting the pattern paper all on her own. She said she thought it was perfect for her image because it already had a sentiment on it. Clever, right! I also adore how she added the glitter sticker in the middle of the camera - such a perfect touch.

Now onto the prize...How do you win it you ask?!!! well its super easy. Below is the blog hop order. You will need to hop around the girls blogs and leave a comment on each one for your chance to win a whopping $40 gift certificate for the store!! so get hopping for the chance to get shopping!! he he he!!! Next stop for you is the adorable Alyce! In case you get lost along the way see below for the entire blog hop order.

I LOVE your coloring Carissa!!! You are so talented! Her hair is incredible. I love that you got your kiddos involved. Those girls are truly talented!! I started stamping and cardmaking with my mommie when I was about 12~back when you only had silver, gold and black embossing powder!!! (Then I'd spend hours coloring the image with chalks and qtips.) Those are some of my best memories. Keep up the crafty fun ♡♡♡
