MarkerPop! + WPlus9 + Copic Skin Tutorial

Hi Everyone! I'm back today on the MarkerPop! blog with another coloring tutorial. I wanted to do a video tutorial using the same technique for coloring skin that I shared last week in the photo tutorial. I love seeing the coloring come together "real" time so to speak (even though I speed up the video just a tad) and I thought it might be easier to understand how I'm shading with the cool BV20 by watching me. Also, I just couldn't resist coloring this adorable image any more and I am so excited that MarkerPop! is now going to carry WPlus9 stamps so I could share her with you! I used Miss You Lots and seriously, isn't she just the sweetest?! She comes with two great sentiments as well.

Here is the video, I hope you will enjoy!

I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black on Copic Xpress It Blending Card before coloring her with Copic Markers. After a TON of finagling and blending I was finally happy with her dress - maybe in another video, if you don't mind, I'll share a video on how I colored her clothing? (Just another excuse to color this darling image!) I actually love how the yellow and reds go together on her dress! And as if I need to mention it, I used clear Wink of Stella on her dress for a bit of sparkle! Because everything looks better with glitter.

So, here are the colors I've used (actually, I wrote down V20 and I used BV20 for her skin) - I apologize for my messy handwriting. I really need to work on that! Hopefully you can read my chicken scratch. If you have any questions on any colors, please don't hesitate to comment or email - I will be sure to respond!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! If you liked my video and don't want to miss a post please be sure to follow me by clicking the button below!
