Helmar Father's Day Blog Hop!!!

Welcome to the Helmar Happy Fathers Day Hop. Today we are so excited to share with you a variety of fantastic masculine projects. We've put our Helmar arsenal to good use and want to share with you some inspiration for those last minute Fathers Day gifts.
If you have been following along, you should have hopped here from Katie's blog. If not, hop on back to the Helmar Blog and enjoy. Make sure to leave comments along the way, because we will have prizes up for grabs. And if the Man in your life is super lucky, We may even send him a Helmar prize pack too.
I made a card using my favorite Helmar products and one of my favorite paper lines! I don't know about you, but I've been in a time crunch this entire week so it made making father's day cards for the special guys in my life has been extremely difficult. That's what I love about having a coordinating paper kit at my finger tips. Everything on my card using Echo Park This & That Charming Collection kit.
Using Helmar Premium Craft Glue is my must have when making cards. I love how it adheres paper beautifully with NO warping or bubbling.
Helmar Zap Dots gives me the perfect dimension for my main sentiment.
Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots is GREAT on smaller stickers to give the dimension I want when a zap dot is just too big.
supplies: Helmar Premium Craft Glue, Helmar Scrap Dots, Helmar Zap Dots, Echo Park This & That Paper Charming Collection Kit, Washi Tape
Thanks so much for stopping by. Now hop on over to Michelle's blog where you are sure to find more Fathers Day inspiration. If you get lost along the way, below you will find the links for the order of the hop.

7 Kids College Fund Challenge Time

Hi everyone! I've been quiet lately and haven't been doing much creating other than working on Designed To Color - which I LOVE but I need to do some coloring and fun things for myself, too, so today I'm taking a day "off" just to create & color! I'm here to share a card I made for the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge #49 - School's Out For Summer!

I love this little Amelia from the Summer Time set by The Greeting Farm. She's just too stinkin' cute!!! I love coloring her hair and have been experimenting with my Copics by adding some V20 to the shadows on her skin. I really love how it just softens up and adds that cool shadow. You know how much I love coloring gingers and for her hair I used YR12, YR14 and R08. One of my favorite combinations.

Even though I don't have a polaroid camera myself *yet* I love the effect so I dug out my Lawn Fawn "Say Cheese" set and stamped and cut out the polaroid, then added the sentiment. The camera is from Studio Calico - I'm obsessed with their wood veneers! They are so fun to spritz with color. I used Mr. Huey's in Sunshine.

I hope you will join me in the 7 Kids challenge - it runs for 2 weeks starting today so plenty of time to dig out your favorite summer time images and make a card, layout, etc.

By the way, if you haven't checked out my new magazine Designed To Color - please take a look - we are now IN print and I only have a handful of our April/May issue left so if you don't want to miss out, please order your today!

Thanks for stopping by!
