I am absolutely in love with this new Phyllis Harris co brand stamp line at Unity Stamp Co! They are just so sweet and I was immediately drawn to them as soon as I started seeing sneak peeks of them at the end of last year....and then I find out that Phyllis Harris actually illustrates for HIGHLIGHTS magazine which I grew up with! Made sense that I would love them! So, I've been coloring them and making bookmarks which I like to make b/c they are fun to see peaking outside the corners of books and when I posted the first one on Unity FB Page a friend of mine said she wanted one and who was I to deny that sweet request! So, here are the two bookmarks I've made and I'm definitely going to be making more b/c they are so fun and sweet to color. Not to mention they take absolutely NO time at all! I only have 2 sets so far but I am determined to collect them all!
This is the first one I made and I used my label maker to write out Proverbs 16:24 which says "Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones." I like that - I love to read and am usually reading several books at once. I will have one going on my nook and then at least 2 others in regular book form. Right now, I'm reading MockingJay the 3rd installment of The Hunger Games trilogy on my nook, EntreLeadership by Dave Ramsey, & Honey for a Childs Heart by Glady's Hunt.
I wanted to share how cute these look in a book! They are called corner book marks and just hug the corner of the page you are on. So much sweeter and less damaging than the old stand by of dog earring which I'm known to do when in a pinch.
And this is the one I made today which I actually took a video on coloring this sweet image! I can't way to give this to my friend Noelle - I hope she meant it when she said she wanted one, b/c now she does! LOL
Thanks for stopping by today - I hope you enjoy the video:
