Altered fun with Helmar, Pink Paislee & Unity Stamp Co!

I am always looking for fun things to alter in the clearance section and I found a box awhile back that looked like a book at Tuesday Morning. I finally altered it recently to use as a  time capsule of sorts for Leap Day to open on the next Leap Day in 4 years. I got the idea from THIS POST.

I used Helmar Acid Free Glue to adhere all the paper and Helmar 450 Quick Dry to adhere all the embellishments except the butterfly. For the butterfly, I wanted the wings to look lifted off the page so I used Helmar Liquid Scrap dots. I used Pink Paislee for all the paper and the stamps are from Unity Stamp Co. The beautiful trim is from my friend Martha's Shop - if you haven't checked it out, you'll want to do so, she has unique trims and embellishments at super low prices. I don't know how she does it, but I love it!

I made this video so you can see the process from beginning to end! I hope you enjoy:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
