7 Kids College Fund Catch up Post!

There is a GREAT challenge ANYTHING GOES at 7 Kids College Fund this week! I hope we get LOTS and LOTS of entries! For my cards I used this adorable stamp by La-La Land Crafts - can you believe this is the first one I've colored! Definitely not the last - they are just too cute. I actually followed a sketch for this one by Tuesday Morning Sketches #137

This is a page in my art journal that I created last week during an impromptu ustream session with Tracy Weinzapfel. She inspires me SO much to JUST CREATE and to let go of over thinking which is what I did on this page. That green is something completely over and top out of my comfort zone but I LOVE the final result. I used the adorable Sweet November Coriander Fairy stamp and just added some glitter to her wings. All of the white on my page, is made using the Copic Opaque White paint. I love this stuff when I'm coloring with my Copic markers for highlights but found it to be extremely useful on my art journalling pages to give that extremely white pop. I stamped the BE and TO on canvas sticky back using Faber-Castel big pitt pens with a fabulous alpha stamp by Unity Stamp Co. called Carnivale.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Carisa - I just love Marcy. Now that I am feeling more comfortable with coloring people I may start investing. Your card is just darling. It's so awesome that you joined us at TMS - thanks that means the world to me.

Hope to see you on the 27th.
