So excited! Meljen's June Guest Designer!

How cool is that?! I'm thrilled to be guest designing along my dearest friends at Meljen's Designs this month! I think their designs are so stinkin' cute and will be fun to play with. When Dee emailed me, I couldn't wait to reply with a big resounding YES! Recently I've had to scale back a lot of my design work because of the time commitments involved. I don't want to let anyone down - but being a guest designer you have the best of being able to work with amazing companies without the long term time involvement.

For my first card, I couldn't wait to ink up this cute Gruffy Little Gnome - although he probably didn't like being called cute and that's why he's a little gruffy. haha I paired him up with some of my favorite October Afternoon papers. It's double sided and I cut out the doily's from one side and attached everything using Helmar Quick Fix Adhesive Runner. For the gnome after coloring him with copics and highlighting with Copic Opaque White paint I used some Helmar Zap Dots to give him dimension. I love how it turned out! Be sure to stop by every Saturday this month for a new card using Meljen's Designs. I stamped the sentiment using October Afternoon clear stamp collection Typing 101 Large. I love that I can use these stamps to create any sentiment of my desire!
