Make it Colourful - Cast Your Shadow Challenge!

It's been SOOOO long since I've been able to participate in any Make it Colourful challenges....my life has been crazy and hectic and I've had to pare down a lot in order to fit everything in. I'm so glad Zoe is the bestest boss ever and my DT mates are fabulous as well - so understanding! When I saw the challenge for today I just KNEW I had to find the time....plus, there have been so many new images released in the past month and not ONE has since color....that is UNTIL TODAY!

Our challenge this week is called Cast Your Shadow - basically, where your shadow would fall below, behind your image. This has always been tough for me but I think I'm finally getting it thanks to the Shadows & Shading book by Marianne Walker. This was an amazing blog prize and I just love it. I need to spend more time studying it though...haha, more time, what's that?! This image when I first saw it really took my breath away - it's called Summer Dreams and isn't she a doll?! She's available in both digi and rubber form! I love this new artist that Zoe has added to her already fabulous collection! I am looking forward to seeing more and more from this line of stamps.
