Welcome Little Bambino!

Omgosh, is that not the sweetest little baby stamp ever? When I first saw Bambino released at Sugar Nellie as a digi stamp I could NOT wait to get my hands on it! Finally last week I broke down & added it to my collection. I wanted to get it on a card pronto and Maria Therese's sketch at The Sugar Bowl was perfect. The image is so sweet and with that little hat, you can make it pink, blue or neutral for whatever your needs! I needed a card welcoming a sweet little boy into the world so I dug out my favorite October Afternoon Ducks in a Row paper pad and started creating. I wanted to recreate those photos with the spotlight of color on the hat so I used my W copics for the skin and colored the little hat with B/BGs. I love the way it turned out. I was super bumed when I was distressing the edges while trying to be so careful not to get a fingerprint smudge on it I dropped the image right into my ink pad and got a little smudge on the image. :( But at that point I was too invested to start over!
