Simply Sassy GDT Call!

It's no secret how much I adore th Simply Sassy line of stamps by Sugar Nellie! Each time a new release is available, I'm drooling and trying to figure out a way to add them to my collection without spending a small fortune! LOL Somehow a few have still managed to make their way to my home and I love coloring them. I actually missed their last guest designer call because the post was being ridiculous with security so I didn't get my stamps until after the call had ended. But never fear because they are having another guest designer call right now! All you have to do is use a Simply Sassy stamp and follow their sketch. And this tim, I have my stamps safely in hand to play as I please. It was just a matter of figuring out which ONE I wanted to use for my card! I finally decided on Hippie Chick - I love her hair and her expression - calm & peaceful! I also used my dear friend Annika's tutorial on coloring sky backgrounds with copics! It is super easy & fun - definately check it out - I have a new addiction to coloring skies I think!

I also used these fabulously gorgeous sculptured flowers by Prima - omgosh, they are beautiful - almost too beautiful to use - but what good will it do sitting in my drawer?! No, they deserve to be on a card! I am new to creating the crinkled ribbon but attempted to do so with some of my Tim Holtz trim which I spritzed with Glimmer mist Fully Purple and Chalkboard Concord. A tip for using less ribbon when I could only find a scrap is to just cut and adhere on the ends which you will see - the image panel covers the white space where there is no ribbon! Then just adhere the bow where you want. I used Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots to adhere the smaller flower so it will have more dimension - I love this stuff - seriously, best.stuff.ever! I was able to make it as tall as I needed - trying to show a picture of the amazing dimension here:
