Bad Hare Day?

You couldn't possibly have a bad day of any kind looking at this adorable sassy girl! I got my 2nd order of Simply Sassy stamps on Saturday and couldn't RESIST having another go at the fabulous sketch and guest designer call going on for Simply Sassy. Today is the LAST DAY so if you are thinking about it - GO FOR IT!!! You never know unless you try out and sometimes, SOMETIMES, you get the best possible email saying YES! I've been blessed to get that amazing email in the past on a few different amazing DTs. Then the real fun gets to begin - you get to design with some of your favorite products, you meet some amazing women who inspire you beyond your wildest dreams and then they sometimes become your bestest of friends! You really have NOTHING to lose by going for it and only SO MUCH more to gain. Sometimes you get rejected, but that's OKAY! It makes the yesses so much more special! So....that's why I knew I just had to color up this little cutie and submit a 2nd card for this call!
I paired her up with some of my favorite October Afternoon papers and colored her with copics. I stamped her on Copic Xpress It Blending Cardstock which I LOVE using whenever I'm out of Make it Colourful Blending Cardstock which I have to say is my first choice but I don't always have it on hand. Thankfully I do have some on it's way over to me. But it's good to have a first and 2nd choice. :D I kinda took a little bit more liberty with the sketch this time, but sometimes that happens - where ever the creativity leads ya! I wanted to give her bunny some extra texture so I pulled out my Fun Fluff and using Helmar Acid Free glue, added some white to the bunny. I have to say I love using the Helmar Acide Free glue b/c it dries clear and you can still see the outline of the stamp thru the fun fluff - very cool!
I wanted to take a side picture so you can see the texture and how I popped up my main image panel with some Helmar Zap dots. You can also see some of the subtle glitter I love getting with my atyou glitter pens by Copic.
