Happy Sunday and Happy April! It's the first challenge of the month here at Anyone for Anya? and we're switching it up a bit for you. You can still continue with our Birthday Calendar challenge each month OR you can follow the alternate challenge for that week. This week it's Easter Cards or your May calendar page. I just love this birthday calendar so I will continue to bring you my pages as they come each month. This month I used my NEW favorite Anya Flirty Anya! Isn't she the cutest?! I just love her flirty pose and the flower in her hair - she was a dream to color! If you haven't heard, The Greeting Farm has launched a NEW challenge blog and to celebrate with their first Farm Fresh Friday challenge it's to use anything NEW!
I wanted to also show a close up as I LOVED how she came out. I have been practicing and practicing with getting pleats with my coloring and I think this is my favorite so far! Also, used a new color combo of warms with her hair. It's a softer shade of black that I love. Also, at Copic Creations, it's pretty much an anything goes with Your Favorite Copic Technique and I just LOVE using tip to tip shading with blush. My favorite combo for a deeper blush is taking my R20 and lightly touching the brush tip to R89, then I do a few strokes on the side of my paper and when I'm satisfied with the color I then do her cheeks. Another favorite technique is coloring "shiny" hair using flicks with my brush tip!
