Make It Colourful Blending Yellow & Green Challenge

Welcome to this week's challenge at Make It Colourful! First, I have to say, I LOVED all the kiddies that came out to play with us last week. It was SUPER cute to see so many of you crafting with your daughters and nieces. I tell you, it's one of my favorite things to color with my girls.
So, on to this week's challenge - Zoe wants us to blend Yellow and Green....yellow and green? Yep, that's right! At first I was like, um, hmmm, really? But then if you just think about it with the yellow  being your highlight area it really seems to make sense! I love this and have been having fun coloring different things with this in mind. Definately stop by the Make It Colourful blog to be completely inspired by the rest of the girls on the team. They just BLOW me away each and every week. There are so many different ways to interpret this challenge so really just have fun with it.

For my card, I used this super cute image from Simply Sassy Hippie Chick. I love these images and finally worked up enough nerve to color one. I used copic colors YG11, YG13 and Y11 on her leg warmers. I also used my Peaches of Plenty stamp from Make It Crafty to create a pattern on my tag. I love how versatile these stamps are. I'm definately going to be using this technique again.

This week we are being sponsored by Crissy Armstrong - Enter our challenge for your chance to win 3 adorable digi's from her Whimsy Stamps Line!!!
