Growing In Unity & a H{ippity} Hop!

Starting in January, ippity has been hosting a FUN month long challenge on their blog.  Each week a new challenge is revealed and You may do each challenge as they are revealed or combine them as we move along each week. So many options, so much FUN! I have YET to do any of the challenges, in fact, my ippity and unity stamps have seen very little love lately. I am determined to change that so I am making it a point to do all the challenges this month as well as GROWING IN UNITY  this week! Yup, each day this week, you'll find a brand new project using Unity Stamps and then at the end of the week, I'll be choosing a winner from all the comments who will be able to pick from a choice, their Unity prize! How cool is that?

For my first project today, I dug out some ippity stamps and created this card based on the week 1 sketch challenge. I flipped it a bit but  you can still see the sketch. I found this shape that I had cut out with my silhouette awhile ago and it was perfect. I love burgandy and blue together, it seems so elegant. I used ippity set So This Is Love. I love the silhouette flowers and the sentiments are great in this set.

Be sure to check out the list of everyone participating today on the Ippity Blog. And be sure to stop by tomorrow and every day this week for a new project during my week of Growing In Unity. :D

Sweet card - love the texture of the base paper. It's echoed nicely in the white ink of the stamp. ♥ky

It's so nice to see you as the GIU gal this week, Carisa! This card is beautiful and I confess I don't know Ippity stamps all that well. I didn't even recognize that set so thanks for sharing it!
