Make It Colourful - Challenge #5d Blending Blue & Purple

This week at Make It Colourful our challenge is to blend Blue and Purple - This is quite a jump for me to blend different color families together but leave it to Zoe to have me jump out of my comfort zone. I first saw this done on Zoe's blog with this gorgeous card HERE. She makes it look gorgeous. I'm actually reallly happy with my first attempt and can't wait to try this again. For my blue's and purples I used B12, B14, & V01 on the baby's overalls.

For this challenge, we also have our first of many wonderful sponsors other than Make It Crafty and we are so excited to have Karen's Doodles sponsoring us. Zoe picked out a couple images that would merge wonderfully with her background images and I chose Butterfly Baby Boy paired with MIC Petals and Palings. It created such a cute scene! I chose this image because it reminded me of my son and how everything is so wonderous to him. I used some fun paper by Echo Park.

I hope you all will join us this week in this fun challenge! Have a great weekend & happy stamping!!

Challenges I'm entering:
Friday Sketchers - #140

Awww, so adorable! The pairing of these two images really go well together. I love this boy card - it really works - and the curled edges is a great effect! :D

Fabulous job with the blending, love the scene, I think I came along to your blog to comment on this and got distracted with the Hannah Lynn before I got here, hehe. Good job I checked, that's all I can say, lol. Better late than never. Toodle Pip. Hugs Tracy x
