Paperworks Co Free for all Monday!

Hi all, so sorry I’m late with my Paperworks Co Free for all Monday post! It was my daughter’s 4th bday yesterday and then after everything died down, I was not feeling very well. I woke up feeling much better though and had time to make a card using this week’s Sketch #66 and the flower tutorial that Nicole posted on Friday – I’ve been dying to try this technique out and was so happy to see her tutorial. I’ve seen other tutorials but hers made total sense to me! I sprayed my ribbon with yellow Glimmer Mist and distress with Barn Door distress inks prior to rolling into a flower. These are so fun to make – I love using hand made embellies – makes for a perfect match on whatever you are working on! I used Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 for everything on this card except the flower & gem from my stash. Hope you will join us in our sketch challenge this week!

I was talking to my hubby last night and when it comes right down to it, I am so lucky to have this wonderful hobby that de-stresses me and surrounds me with amazing and talented women every single day. I have made so many friends by blogging and being on different DTs and it's so nice to have that connection with other women all over the world - and I mean ALL over the world - some of my besties live down under and I love waking up to a full email inbox as they waffle all day long while I sleep.
