Babies all around!!!

I made these two cards for two of my friends that are also due this month. I followed this week's Lord Have Mercy Sketch Challenge. As you can see I am in love with making easel cards. I just love these little babies from TGF's Oh Baby set. I have to admit, I'm so impressed with my bow on the girl card, LOL, they normally drive me crazy, but I've been trying to use ribbon and bows more and more on my cards lately so maybe practice really does help!!! Ya think?!?
As for me, my due date is quickly approaching this Sun and I think this little guy is just snug as a bug in my tummy. Now, I just wonder if he'll be a Feb baby or a Mar baby! I'm still feeling great and loving the extra time being pregnant. Both my girls were born a week before my due date so this has been fun to stay pregnant a little longer. I start my maternity leave tomorrow from work and just trying to get in a little last minute crafting before he gets here, too. I'm so happy not to have to go to work in the morning!!! It's R&R here on out.

Amazing Duo Challenge!

I made this card following this week's Sketch Saturday at Club Anya & Friends. Also, it meets this weeks Anyone for Anya? challenge Something Completely Different. I just got new Copics and this is a hair color I've never used before. It's supposed to be "strawberry blond" - I have to work with it a couple more times to get it just right but I do admit I like being able to do a blond hair that's not TOO yellow! I used Super Anya from the Amazing Duo set avail from TGF. The star DP is part of the Dirty Rodeo paper pack from TGF. I really love how it turned out - it's fun using new markers! I hope my friend likes it as much when she gets it. :)

I can't believe....another Stamptacular Challenge card!

I'm not sure HOW much this fits this week's Stamptacular Circle challenge as the ONLY circles on my card are in my stamp (her dress) and my DP as well as the baubles I used. hehe, I almost didn't want to enter it but I had already colored up the image so thought, what the heck.... I adore No Fair Girl from Stamping Bella's Tiddly Inks line (my favorite line at Stamping Bella btw). She's perfect for any card and comes with additional sentiments but since I was using this to send to a couple of my friends that have been patiently waiting for images from me forever, inside I just wrote "...that it took me forever to send these to ya!" LOL Don't you just love her little expression and stance?! I know I do!

Thanks for looking!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge - Sweet Treat!

I don't have a close up picture of the individual pieces, but this is the paper cake I made as thank you favors for my baby shower. I used the Thank You sentiment from a discontinued set by The Greeting Farm on the top. That's the only stamping, LOL. Otherwise, I covered each piece with imaginese DP that I cut out a border using the Crown MS punch and some felt ribbon. Then I wrapped each cake with a ribbon that says It's a Boy. I filled each box with hershey's kisses and mints. Thanks for looking! I loved the end result but won't make another one until I have a cricut with the boxes and more cricut cartridge as making a template and tracing and cutting was WAYYYY too time consuming for moi! haha I even enlisted the help of my darling hubby...and even he said, he's getting me a cricut before making one of these again! haha
This project meets this weeks challenge at Stamptacular Sunday where you have to make a project to hold treats! Since I hadn't posted about it and I did just make it, I hope it's ok to enter it. :)
Thanks for looking!!!

Last minute Stamptacular Sunday entry

I made these two cards for my girls valentine's and I think they meet this week's stamptacular sunday challenge - I'm only minutes from missing the deadline, LOL, so I will make it short. I am in love with these easel cards and this is one of my FAVORITE huggabug images designed by Christy Croll for Stamping Bella.
Hope you likey!

Stamping Bella Love Me Do Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the LOVE ME DO Blog Hop sponsored by Stamping Bella! If you've just happened upon my blog, you can CLICK HERE to start from the beginning at Bloggabella. If you came here from Catherine's blog you're in the right spot! When I saw the blog hop was scheduled for my bday, I knew I had to participate!! I love these bella blog hops. I always come across new amazing talent and see a few old friends along the way as well!

For my card, I used Phoebe from the Ketto line at Stamping Bella. A dear friend RAK'd me with all the Ketto's I have - it was such a surprise and I just now finally got this little cutie out of the wrapper and inked her up this week. I made this card for the Bella Show & Tell challenge last week which also fit with this theme. I wanted to make a new card tonight special for the blog hop but ended up with a killer headache so I opted to just chill out rather than try to create a new card. Being that I'm due with #3 in 2 weeks, I figured I better rest if my body needs it. I used some scraps from my daughter's preschool valentine's and adore this red & blue color combo. I plan on using it much more in the future!
How about a prize? In addition to the fabulous eye candy, we have decided to hide a prize somewhere along the hop! One pre-selected blogger will draw a random winner from the comments on her post, and the winner will receive a $25 Gift Voucher to Stamping Bella!!! The fun part is...we're not telling you who it is! So as you hop, make sure you leave comments on every post so you have a chance to win!! We will announce the winner on Friday in the Splitcoast forum. MWAH!

Thanks for stopping by and now to continue on your way, please be sure to head on over to Tanja's Blog for even more Love Me Do goodness!!

Preschool Valentine Card Kit

Way back when Tolla started preschool in Aug the teacher asked for a volunteer for the Valentine party (their only party), of course, being the excited first time school mom I was I immediately volunteered as I LOVE valentine's day - think it's b/c my bday is on the 13th. Anyway, I had no idea that volunteering meant I had to come up with the craft ideas as well as gather all the supplies! LOL Nor did I think about being 9 months pregnant at the time. haha, such minor details... Anyway, of course, the first craft idea was easy - I knew I wanted to make a simple card kit for the kiddos to put together. I came up with these 4x4 simple cards with some DP and an image for them to color themselves. They will then glue it all together. My 4 yr old loves doing this all the time. Of course, I wanted to use Stella from TGF and couldn't wait to color her up myself so I made a "sample" for the kids. *giggle* My hubby made fun of me b/c he said you expect the kids to color them like that?! hehe I also inked up Hello Ian from TGF so they can choose a boy or girl image.
I colored her using Copics and I used the Feather Blending technique from the Copic Creations challenge. OMG, they have a super cool prize this challenge - a set of 12 brand new copic markers!!! Gosh, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to win that!! Also, this follows the Green & Purple color challenge from this weeks Wacky Card Challenge at Club Anya & Friends. :) Too late anyway to enter but it was fun to color (it doesn't quite meet the challenge anyway.) Love the way this turned out.
Hope you likey!!
