Guest Designer for a Day - Can I get a Hip Hop?!

If you've arrived from Stephanie's blog you are in the right place!! If not, you'll definitely want to head back to the Unity Blog to start at the beginning as this is one of the most amazing DTs for super fabulous inspiration!
Oh my goodness, I am so excited!!! Only my fellow stampers & Unity lovers could even imagine how I feel! My love of Unity & Ippity began when I was 9 months pregnant with my son, now he is about to turn 9 months old next week (gosh, how fast that goes!) and my obsession, erm, passion for Unity/Ippity still remains just as strong if not stronger! I've made so many dear friends, continue to be inspired and grow from week to week to try new things with my stamping and love every minute of it.
When I found out the theme this week is Christmas Cards, I immediately thought of Season of Joy as it's pretty much been my go to for Christmas creations. I don't know about you, but for me, with 3 kids, I tend to design my cards in my head before I even get a chance to sit at my craft table. LOL In the past 6 months I've learned how to do this as I realize I don't really get that much time to sit and create so I have to have some sort of thought process already going long before I'm ready to make it! So, as I continued to think about it, I thought the tree from A Little Buggy kinda looks like a peppermint candy and then possibly an ornament and thus my card was created:
I added lots of bling to my ornaments with stickles. I pared it up with some of my favorite holiday DP from my stash and I also used the music stamp from Music of My Heart. It's one of my favorites! A little distressing and some yummy bakers twine to finish it off!
In light of all this and in the Christmas spirit, I'm having a GREAT sale on ippity stamps - Buy 2 or more sets and get 1 FREE $6 set of YOUR choice! That's how much I love these stamps and know you will too! Please stop by my ippity sales blog for easy ordering.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Now, on to your last stop - the ippity blog - check it out for a great tutorial!
I hope you will join me in chatting it up as well in the Unity SCS forums at 10a CST. I love my Thurs Hip Hop Chatter!!
