FWF - 80 Baby Announcements, Oh MY!

Happy Friday!! For everyone participating in todays FWF, check out the Unity Blog. I made these adorable baby announcements for my doula and friend who had her baby 2 months after Trey was born. I used Unity's Roots & Wings store kit for the back and Little Sprout for the sentiment on the front. I wanted to keep it simple for mailing and to let the pics speak for themselves as she has 3 gorgeous girls. She loved them & wanted EIGHTY!!! I've never handmade 80 of anything before. I'm not much of a mass producing kind of gal. I ended up using 2 different DPs but same design so I only showed one front. These were really fun to make - although I went thru 3 1/2 rolls of ATG tape, LOL and I think my cutter is kaput - but well worth it. I am even trying to get in a local baby boutique to sell handmade announcements now, I have my fingers crossed that she'll want me - she loves to support local entrepreneurs and handmade items! I'm so glad my friend asked me to do this as I never would have had the confidence had she not.

Guess what, I have a treat for you today:

You found it!
Unity Flair!

Be sure to leave me a comment on this post and I'll be back tomorrow to pick a winner of a grab bag of 25 random unity stamps!!! Whoohoo!

Carissa,
Wow these are beautiful. I love "mass producing" as I feel like I am accomplishing something without the pressure of coming up with different layouts. I love these cards. 80 IS certainly an accomplishment. Way to go. Darsana
