Make it Crafty - Make A Scene Technique Challenge!!

The wait is over - there is a new challenge blog in town & it's going to change the way you craft! If you've ever wanted to know exactly how to do a certain technique or maybe get tips on how to bring it to the next level, the Make it Crafty Challenge is for you!!! Once a month we will be spotlighting a technique with one of our DT members & she will give you everything she knows to help you get started. This weeks technique is Create A Scene! You can find Susan's Tutorial HERE. I know you have seen these cards where they are an entire little snapshop in one & I just love them. I've never DONE one before so this was new for me - thankfully I got some amazing tips from the rest of the MiC team!

For my card, I used two digital images from Make it Crafty Wonky House on a hill & Fairy Sapphire Sitting. This week's Friday Sketchers sketch. Now, I have received some feedback from my fellow DT and the general consensus being I need to BUY MORE COPICS!!! ahahahaha, funny how that happens, right? No seriously, coloring grass is something I've NEVER done before and well, it's pretty apparent that I need more greens in order to create more movement & texture.

PRIZES!! Yes there are prizes for the brave crafty souls that wish to embark on this new challenge idea. Being a Technique challenge Zoe is going to have TWO prizes both selected by her.
Prize One: Zoe's Pick Winner - will receive a choice of 3 digital stamps plus a winners badge. An additional top 2 who will each receive 1 digi stamp of their choice plus a 'top' badge.
Prize Two: Encouragement Award - To be eligble for the encouragement award the participant must be a member of the 'Create a Scene' group in the learning centre and have requested assistance in learning the technique. Winner will receive a choice of 3 digital stamps plus a special 'I learnt it' badge
How fun is that!? I can't wait to see what you come up with. For more details on entering & to see what the rest of the fab scenic DT cards, please check out the Make it Crafty blog HERE.

Carisa! What a fabulous effort for your very first scene. I am so happy you took up the challenge and even shared your card when you weren't quite happy with the grass. This is what it's all about. We can all learn from each other and even when things aren't quite how we want them by sharing that experience it helps others too. Big Hugs xxoo

Ooooh this is beautiful Carisa! Love how you've combined the images and those layers of paper are wonderful. Now I'm going to tell you something: the more Copics you have, the more you are going to want to buy - hehehe. Hugs, Maria
