Happy Thursday fans of Lil Lolita's!! I just cannot believe how fast the weeks are running by. Between work & my daughter in school & everything in between, it's chaotic to say the least!! I've been trying to make a card a day, sometimes I meet that goal and sometimes I don't. Today I did with this fabulous Lil Lolita card for this week's Lil Lolita Boutique challenge - Girly Girl! I used lots of feminine touches without using your classic girly colors like pinks & purples. I was actually surprised at myself! I finally used those fabulous Tim Holtz masking thingies I got eons ago & LOVE them - not sure I used them intirely right - gonna have to go scout out a tutorial on that! haha
I used the fabulous 30's Lylah, I just think she's adorable, plus I had a few of her colored already which was nice. I don't normally have images colored before deciding on what I'm going to do. I love how this card turned out, I just saw these scraps peeking out under a pile & gave them a little facelift so they'd be perfect.Today is a little sad for the Lil Lolita Ladies as we're saying farewell to 3 members that have just been amazing to work with & get to know: Patricia, Eulanda & Nicole have all decided it was time to step down as our initial contract had ended. So, we've all wished them good luck & know we will continue to stalk, er, I mean, see them around blogland!! They will definately be missed. I totally still get girly girl with this card even if it isn't the traditional colors one associates with that... the pearls, roses and bling bring it all together perfectly! Stunning card Carisa!
