Lil Lolita Challenge #4 - feeling blue down under!

How fun was last week's challenge? I hope you had a chance to get your groove on designing your own DP. After seeing what was submitted, I seriously need to try to create some of my own. This week's challenge is a lot of fun. Since the girls down in Austrailia are having their winter while I enjoy my summer *giggle* they are feeling a little cold & blue - so our challenge to you is create a card or project using only BLUE or BLUE as your main color! Be sure to check the Lil Lolita Boutique Challenge blog to see what the fabulous DT has come up with! It is SO much fun to see how different & unique each girls card is as the week gets closer to our challenge date. I also love seeing what everyone comes up with that enters the challenges & I'm sure to stop by and comment as well.
I used the ever fabulous Ivy and OMG, did I have a blast coloring her. I've had this DP FOREVER and it was just calling my name to be used in this challenge. I kept it simple & couldn't wait to use this flower that was just the right shade of blue sent to me by fellow DT member Patricia. I had just received an amazing package of goodies for my kiddos from my dear friend and fellow crafter Norma Jean the day I started this card & so this was made while I thought of how sweet she is & how blessed I am to know her. Hence the sentiment Sweet Wonderful You which is from PTI's Handwritten Notes, I love this set b/c I can pretend my handwritting is that fabulous. My Kraft CS base is PTI as well. I love their CS and splurge on it every once in awhile then hoard it to the max, LOL.
Now, if you haven't seen the previews of the all new Lil Lolita line coming out soon - where have you been?! Stop by the Tickled Pink Stamps blog for all the gorgeous eye candy & your chance to win 'em!!!
