Hey dude!

So, this card is going out to a little boy that was recently hit by a car in my neighborhood. I got an email from the school saying that he got a card from a friend that he loved & really made his day and his family was asking the community to send him cards as he recovered. Thank goodness for helmets as initially they thought he might be paralized but is now expected to make a full recovery & is home with a broken jaw. I hope this card brightens his day a little. I sure had fun making it for him. It also follows the Anyone For Anya Sketch Challenge - but I think I'm a bit late in entering! LOL
I'm using some new Neenah Solar White paper to color with copics but I'm not sure how I like it yet....what do you think? Honestly!!! If you use Copics - what is your FAVORITE paper to color on? I'm out of what I had been using but I think it was a little too thick (it was Hammermill Color Copy Bright White 100lb) which is great for my bases but I think it used wayyyyy too much of my copic inks. I don't know. Just trying some new papers out. I love my local XPEDEX store b/c they always let me take a few sheets to try out before buying a whole ream! I also tried out a new skin tone....I'm just tired of the pale white skins - need to challenge myself. :)

I've tried quite a few different papers when I first started with copics, but when I got my order of Gina K Pure Luxury white (layering weight) paper that was it ~ I was hooked on this stuff and have been using it ever since.

oh my gosh, how CUTE and what a sweet card to send that poor little guy. Love this! Neenah solar white is my fave I use the 80lb. I also like the classic cream for when you need ivory tone-I think they blend really well :) Awesome card, chickie!
