Scrapbook Pal DT Entry

I've been a happy little crafter at my desk today. I've made 3 cards and put the finishing touches on a frame for my mom. I am so excited to share these projects with you as my entry for Scrapbookpal.com!!! I love ALL the products they have to offer and couldn't wait to show you what you could do as well with just a few things.

My first card I used the cute little bunny from Sweet Thoughts of You by {ippity}. After coloring him with Copcis, I used glossy accents on the flower he's holding and the little heart on his tummy. :) I adore this set and have been using it as my go to set when I sit down as of late. It's an adorable sprinttime set but can be used for many other occasions as well. For my background paper I used a sheet from the White Out Collection by We R Memory Keepers. I love the bright colors of this paper. I guess I'm just enjoying the sunshine we've had after a few days of rain/snow at the end of last week! I cut out some scrap paper using my Nestibilities Labels One. I love this nestie a ton and thought it would be fun to off set it instead of using the whole thing. To make my image stand out I cut it out using Nestibilities Long Scallop Rectangles. These are great for any tall images you have.

For my 2nd card, I used a sketch from the new Go To Sketches by PaperCrafts. This was SOOO worth the money b/c it really jumpstarts my mojo when I don't want to scour the internet for challenges. LOL The sketch I used is on p. 104. I thought it would be perfect for the simple masculine card I wanted to make for my dad's birthday coming up. Using another {ippity} set, I used the happy birthday sentiment from the set Life's Little Moments. The DP is another scrap from the We R Memories White Out Collection.

I just need to get some ribbon to finish up my frame for my mom so I hope to have that posted tomorrow after I take a trip to the store.
Thanks for stopping by!!
