TGF Royal Battle has BEGUN!!!!

There is a team challenge going on at The Greeting Farm in case you haven't heard and my team Greeting Farm Mommas is in the mix. This weeks challenge was to create a card based on a picture for inspiration in a retro style. I created the card for our team this week. Now, THAT was a challenge in itself with a 2 week old in the house and major sleep deprivation, LOL, but I got it done and LOVED the time I spent at my craft desk doing so. I used Cheeky Rockabilly b/c she screams retro to me and stamped her on kraft cs with chocolate ink. Then I colored her using my copics for a subtle effect. I love coloring on kraft cs. I then layered her with cs and created a window with my nesties in a reverse style. Added the lace and border with my new loops MS punch that I finally got my hands on and couldn't wait to use.

{ippity} blog hop!

This is my first {ippity} blog hop & the first set I bought - Where You Should Be - I absolutely love it! These are a little out of my comfort zone as far as stamping - I'm used to images and lots of coloring! LOL I'm sure as I get more and more used to them and using them I'll get better cards - Promise!!!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge - And baby makes three!!

I made these onesies for my friends who were both due around the same time as me, one of us has had our baby and two of us are still waiting...LOL, the two of us still waiting (me of course) are both having boys! Hmmm, maybe that says something...Anyway, since they have both received their gifts I can finally show them on my blog and how happy was I to see that it was perfect for this week's Stamptacular Sunday Challenge: And baby makes three!!! Altho, for my friends and I, our babies make FIVE!!! Yep, how cool is that that we're all on our third baby?!?!

Anyway, I used Staz-on ink and the Oh Baby set from TGF as well as Baby Boy from Inkadinkadoo. I am so addicted to making these little onesies after having my guests make them at my baby shower and also receiving adorable handstamped onesies as a gift I just had to give it a try myself. They are so easy to make and really one of a kind gifts to give & receive.

You are Fabulous! My {ippity} debut....

I combined one of my new {ippity} stamps with this adorable little Amelia from the brand new Happy Day set just released at TGF. Using the sketch from this weeks Anyone for Anya? challenge, I loved using both these stamps - coloring Olivia was so much fun and I love the versatility of this sentiment from {ippity}. I will be making more samples using this Where You Should Be set so stay tuned. just wanted to share a card i made

I made this for a sympathy card for Shannon Teubner who is well known on SCS and bellaland for her amazing beautiful card creations. If you haven't heard, her husband passed away at the beginning of Feb and I just knew I wanted to send her something to let her know she is in our prayers even tho I've never met her. I just can't imagine something like that happening. If you want to leave her encouragement, she posted a little bit on her blog.

I used this Miss Anya image from the love set and on a whim I stamped her on craft paper and colored her with copics. I love the subtle effect. I used a white gel pen to make the flowers pop. I also followed a Sketch challenge, but can't remember which one now!!
