Preschool Valentine Card Kit

Way back when Tolla started preschool in Aug the teacher asked for a volunteer for the Valentine party (their only party), of course, being the excited first time school mom I was I immediately volunteered as I LOVE valentine's day - think it's b/c my bday is on the 13th. Anyway, I had no idea that volunteering meant I had to come up with the craft ideas as well as gather all the supplies! LOL Nor did I think about being 9 months pregnant at the time. haha, such minor details... Anyway, of course, the first craft idea was easy - I knew I wanted to make a simple card kit for the kiddos to put together. I came up with these 4x4 simple cards with some DP and an image for them to color themselves. They will then glue it all together. My 4 yr old loves doing this all the time. Of course, I wanted to use Stella from TGF and couldn't wait to color her up myself so I made a "sample" for the kids. *giggle* My hubby made fun of me b/c he said you expect the kids to color them like that?! hehe I also inked up Hello Ian from TGF so they can choose a boy or girl image.
I colored her using Copics and I used the Feather Blending technique from the Copic Creations challenge. OMG, they have a super cool prize this challenge - a set of 12 brand new copic markers!!! Gosh, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to win that!! Also, this follows the Green & Purple color challenge from this weeks Wacky Card Challenge at Club Anya & Friends. :) Too late anyway to enter but it was fun to color (it doesn't quite meet the challenge anyway.) Love the way this turned out.
Hope you likey!!
