The Greeting Farm - Cha Relay Final 3 in 1 challenge card!

Even tho The Greeting Farm Cha Relay had to be cancelled yesterday for many different reasons, I knew I wanted to at least complete the final day using the absolutely adorable Prince Ian digi. As soon as I saw him, I knew I wanted to make my darling hubby a Valentine. My hubby and I have been going to Renaissance Festivals since we began dating many, many years ago in high school. In fact, one particular Ren Faire we went to, was one that we got back together and have been together ever since. It's our place of romance as he asked me to marry him at a faire and we got married in a rose garden that held a faire for many years back in our hometown - one that we agreed to meet at on that fateful day. Anyway.......LOL......enough mushiness, I hope you like my card! I made another easel card (my favs right now) and colored Prince Ian with Copics. Added some rhinestone hearts to go along with the challenge right now at Anyone for Anya? and also used my skintone copics (E00 & E33) to go along with this week's Copic Colour Challenge.

Hope you likey!

The Greeting Farm - CHA Relay Day 3

Ok, anyone who knows me a little bit knows that I'm SOOOO intimidated by animal stamps. I just feel like I can't color them right so I tend to stay away from them so when I saw that Toby Cub was Day 3's image I freaked out a little bit! But he's a baby bear and I'm having a baby so I knew I had to just TRY to work with him. I rose up to the challenge and used him for these photo cubes I'm making for my parents and my mother in law when our little cub arrives next month. As soon as he's here I'll write his name in the white area and will fill the rest of the cube with mini scrapbook pages of photos. I think it's adorable & think the grandparents will adore! Hope you like!

The Greeting Farm - CHA Relay Day 2

Love this little chica - Meet Charlotte from TGF's Day 2 Cha Relay Challenge Digi! As soon as I saw her I knew what I wanted to do and I'm so happy with the result. I even managed to use my copics with minimal smearing. So excited about that. Even loosely followed this week's Mojo Monday - you can still sorta see the sketch. I don't always keep the sketch right in front of me so I look at it, get a feel of what I want to do and then go to my desk to create - I hope it still meets it tho.

The Greeting Farm - CHA Relay Day 1!

I finally got MerIan colored and finished! It's VERY simple but I love it. As soon as I saw him I knew I wanted to find some paper to match from this story book paper pack I have. After 2 failed attempts to color with Copics and one mishap with my Nestie cutting half his hair off, LOL, I have here a card to complete TGF Relay Day 1!!! Whoohoo, I'm not sure I can keep up the momentum for the rest of the week but I'm going to try. Oh, I ended up coloring his skin with copics - extremely carefully along the lines and no blending so it's a bit rough looking and then colored the rest with my bics which didn't bleed as much.
There isn't much time left but if you're speedy - and haven't done so already - check out the TGF Relay HERE. You only have until 6pm CST to have your card completed and uploaded to enter and qualify for the next FREE digi!!
Phew, now off to my crappy job! LOL

Happy Birthday, Mom!

I finally tried making one of these easel cards that have been floating around! CMM at CafeMom was having a challenge and it was perfect. I also couldn't wait to ink up cute little Gigi designed by Amy for TGF. Gosh, I got my hot little hands on all 4 of those cuties as soon as I could! Gigi reminded me of my mom. I colored her with copics - am running out of C3 darnit - and added some prima's to pretty it up - the colors are just gorgeous - my camera didn't do it justice - but in case you were wondering Green is my mom's favorite color! LOL Also, this looked great hanging on the gift bag - too cute.

Thanks for looking!!

Baby Shower Invitations!!!

Well, my due date (Feb 28) is fast approaching and I finally nailed down a date for my baby shower that my mom is so graciously hosting for me! I knew as soon as I was pregnant that I needed a Pregnant Anya and thankfully she was released a couple months later! LOL So of course, I used Mommy Anya from the Mom and Dad set by TGF. It was quite a daunting task to tackle mass producing these invites, but it was SO worth it in the end. It's going to be quite the keepsake for my son's baby book and if you've ever thought about doing hand stamped invitations but been intimidated by it, my advice is to keep it simple - if you're coloring an image, that's going to be the bulk of your time, followed by cutting all the supplies to put together in sections. These are just front and back cards. So the front has the pretty design and the back has all the information. Much easier than cutting AND folding in my opinion. I colored Anya with Copics and used a variety of DP that was in my stash. I am proud to say that everything used to make these invitations was already in my stash so no new product was purchased. LOL You know how hard that was to do - I was so tempted to go look for just the perfect "it's a boy" paper but just decided to go with the blues/whites/blacks that I already had.
Oh the back has this cute saying I found that I tweaked a little to work for our situation:
There was once a time when we all heard her say,
I'm done, that's it....2 girls, call it a day.
But now that expression, I'm done is in the past
There's gonna be a Baby Boy, will this be the last?
Isn't that adorable! LOL Everyone that knows me knows I was quite content with my two little girls, I remember one girlfriend when I told her exclaim I thought you were done, LOL, cuz we had just talked about a week before I found out and I was all mushy about how wonderful it was with the girls and how I just knew when I held Teagan that our family was complete. haha Little did I know the plan God had in store for us. I'm so excited and so appreciative of this little gift we've been given. I'm excited to see the different dynamic between a son and his mother/father. It's going to be amazing!
I hope you like!

My baby girl is going to be THREE!!!

I made these invites for her using TGFs dirty sugar digital kit. Absolutely love this kit - it's perfect for making all these bday invites. And I can't wait to use it for some scrapbook pages after her bday.
Really ticked at walmart tho - they aren't supposed to crop it after you check the alignment and everything online, but the last couple cards I've sent for print have been cropped all out of whack and I'm really irritated. I had no choice but to accept their cropping and send them out anyway since I'm so short on time lately. Seriously, when is all the nesting going to kick in anyway!? ! LOL
