Greeting Farm Friday!!!

Yep, it's time for another fabulous Greeting Farm Friday!! Last night the Garden Gnomes were up to their mischieve again with Marie & we had such a blast. I love hanging out with Marie & Angela. They really brighten my day when I haven't been having such a great day. After a late night, I had to come home & make a card for today - I'm happy to report that I did but I had to wait until morning to take a pic which is why my post is a tad late this morning! (And my camera is being a pain, b/c I could not get a clear pic.)

As soon as Marie showed me this paperpack from DCWV- Once Upon A Time, I knew I was going to come home and make a card with Princess Anya (my daughter's favorite Anya). It's a 4.25x4.25, perfect for a present or when you just want a small card. My daughter hasn't seen it yet, I'm saving it for her bday - I think I'll put it on one of her presents. :) I'm happy with it except for her hair. I'm running out of all my Copic hair colors so I'm really stretching them. LOL I hate running out of Copics, it makes me sad! hahaha

Greeting Farm Friday!!

Whoo hoo, it's the 2nd week of Greeting Farm Fridays and I hope you are enjoying it as much I am creating my project for it each week.

This week I used one of the girls from the wild sprouts line that I stamped when hanging out with my friends Angela and Teresa last Satuday. I was not feeling any mojo but I colored her anyway. Sometimes just coloring an image without the pressure of putting her immediately on a card really helps to release my mojo! I was dying to try some blond hair coloring and thank goodness for Angela b/c she had the perfect combo of Copics. Definately putting those at the top of my wish list next time I run past the art store! I made this thinking about a decision I recently made to go back to Cosmetology school. I have always dreamed about doing hair and I'm finally making the leap and going to go to school to make it a reality. I love having extreme hair color myself so I had to give 'lil wild sprout Annika a streak of purple hair. Hope you likey!! And wish me luck in finding a good school here that I can afford!!!

Club Anya - New Release Day!!!

Can you believe it's the 15th already?!?! My favorite days of the month are the 1st and the 15th b/c I know Marie is going to be coming out with more super cute stamps for me, ahem, I mean us!!! LOL You have got to go check it out here!! When I saw the Baby Set, I about peed my pants. Anya & Ian as babies, seriously doesn't get too much cuter than that!! Plus all the sentiments & accessories that come with it are perfect for any baby card you need to make.

I made this one for my dear blogging friend, Leanne who just welcomed her first, a beautiful baby boy, last week. Unfortunately, as you can see, MY girls got a hold of this and someone had inky fingers and pretty much smudged it up. The back is MUCH worse than the front, but you can still see a spot on the front. What a bummer but alas, that's what happens when little ones are about. Also, I attempted Marie's super hard ONE layer challenge this week over at TGF blog. As you can see, I did add ONE layer of ribbon (*giggle* Angela!) I just tried and tried to go without adding SOME sort of embellishment, but just couldn't do it! I had to add something and once I put that ribbon there, I was finally satisfied with this card. Hope you likey!!!

Friday Sketchers - 56 & Copics Colour Challenge

Whoo hoo, I found my mojo! I have made 3 cards this weekend which is something after not stamping for 2 weeks. This card I made using this week's Friday Sketchers and a beautiful gorguss girl sent to me in a swap. This is my first time using one. I adore these images and can't wait to finally get my hands on some! I think I'll save up for their next presale release and get a whole bunch!! Oh, I just remembered I can also enter this into the Copics Colour Challenge this week. I've always wanted to enter but don't always have the right color. Her dress is colored using RV11 which is one of the colors for the challenge.

I'm going to be sending this card to my best friend. I've been missing her a lot lately. Thanks for stopping by! I'll be sharing one of my other cards tomorrow and then the last I made will be showcased at this week's Greeting Farm Friday. So, I definatley have at least THREE blog posts scheduled this week. Awesome! Hopefully, after I get some laundry done and straighten the house up a bit, I'll be able to get back to stamping.
Oh yeah, and I won some blog candy this morning! What a wonderful way to start my Sunday. You have to go over to Kadie's blog and check her out. She's really amazing. I won a nestibility set and TGF stamp. How exciting!!! Thanks again, Kadie!!

The Greeting Farm Friday!!!

Whoo hoo, my fabulous stamping friend and card maker extradonaire, Angela asked me to join her as she starts The Greeting Farm Friday on her blog - uh, yeah, I'd love to, but next time can you give me more than 4 hrs notice!?!?! LOL So for this first Greeting Farm Friday I am sharing one of the first cards I made using the first stamp I bought from The Greeting Farm - Fairy Tink. LOVE her! As soon as I saw her, I KNEW I had to have her. And thus started my long love affair with The Greeting Farm and Marie (sorry, Ray, LOL).
I've been fortunate enough not only to meet Marie in person but also to hang out with her and help her out from time to time. When she says her apt is covered in rubber, she's not exaggerating! LOL So, together with Angela, as we like to call ourselves, the Garden Gnomes, Garden Groupies, Garden Harvesters, LOL, there are many different names we go by, we go over, hang out, pack stamps, laugh our butts off, and just generally have a great time. It doesn't feel like work at all! haha
I hope you will join us every Friday as Angela, Nicole and I will be getting together to bring you The Greeting Farm Friday. Next week I will have a brand new card since I'll have more time to prepare! LOL And don't forget to pop over to the girls other blogs and leave them some love too!! Angela also has some AMAZING blog candy to giveaway, so hurry up! It ends today.

TGF - New Release Day!!!

I am SO excited whenever there is a new release at The Greeting Farm. Marie just does it again and again with her amazing designs. I knew when she gave a sneak peek of the new hope and grace girl - Snuggle - that I just HAD to have her. On Sat. we had a great crop at our friend "Charlie's" and that is where I came up with this card. Originally I wanted to make a father's day card using this b/c my daughter's lovie is a bunny but it didn't quite turn out that way. After about 7 hours of stamping I ended up with three completed cards and this is one of them:

Yeah, that's right, 3 cards in 7 hours. Not exactly productive but it sure was fun and that is really what it comes down to, right?! I have to admit, when I started coloring and Marie was sitting right next to me, I was really intimidated! There is nothing like coloring a stamp with the stamp designer right there. LOL But she's so sweet she said she liked how I colored her skin *blush* so maybe next time I won't be so intimidated. haha

I can't wait to see who will be on the DT, I got to see so many fabulous creations from my bestest stamping sisters so I knew it was going to be a tough decision.

I didn't have much stamping mojo this weekend, plus I ran out of white CS which is kinda a must have for stampers. Hopefully, I'll be able to stock up sometime this week. I feel like I never have the time to stamp and when I have the time I don't have the mojo --- what's up with that?!
